Sports Lighting
As in any lighting application, one lighting fixture does not fit for all applications. This is especially true for sports lighting fixtures. As per the IES (Illuminating Engineers Society), baseball fields require certain minimum footcandles. Football fields require different levels of footcandles. And, if these fields are used for high levels of competition (e.g. Division 3 vs. Division 1) or are used to broadcast games, the correct level of footcandles is even more important.
